She was born June 19, 1929 in Marysville to the late Albert and Esther Badley.
She married Thomas R. Sawdon on November 5, 1948 in Port Huron. He died November 16, 2003.
Mrs. Sawdon was employed in the food service with Port Huron Area School District for 19 years. She was a member of the Port Huron Church of Christ.
Survived by three sons, Mr. and Mrs. Dale (Liz) Sawdon of Austin, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Gene (Laura) Sawdon of Eagle River, Alaska, Mr. and Mrs. Danny (Linda) Sawdon of Port Huron; three daughters Mr. and Mrs. Floyd (Sybil) Reichle, Mr. and Mrs. Joe (Peggy Sue) Bowman of North Street and Julia Bickle of Port Huron; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michelle A. Bickle.
Visitation will be 7-9 today and 2-4 and 7-9 Wednesday in Pollock Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Pollock Randall Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery. Mrs. Sawdon's children will serve as pallbearers.
