Turin, James Daniel (Jimmy). Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, June 27, 2015. Born on June 7, 1964, Jimmy lived his whole, but too short, life in St. Louis.
Cherished father of Candice (Dennis) Lee, Jennifer Turin and Alexandra Turin; dear grandfather of Caleb and Evan Lee; beloved brother of Teresa (Jerry Lis) Turin-Lis, John Turin Jr., and Christopher (Keri) Turin; stepson of Louise Turin; son of Nancy Dattilo; dear uncle, cousin, nephew, friend and pet owner. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, John D Turin, Sr.
Jimmy was a member of the St. Louis Laborer's Union, Local 42 for almost 30 years. “Do what drives you and have no regrets” was his philosophy and he applied it to both work and play. Like his dad, there was nothing Jimmy wouldn’t do for someone he loved.
Everything he did, he did to the best of his ability and he always tried to do the right thing. Jimmy lives on in the hearts of everyone who knew him and in the lives he affected with his final gifts.
Services: Visitation at CALCATERRA FUNERAL HOME, 5140 Daggett, Wednesday, July 1, 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ambrose Church, Thursday, July 2, 10:00 am. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
