DIES FROM ATTACK OF SPINAL MENINGITIS THERE
Henry Krase, town clerk of the town of Two Rivers, is dead at his
home there, a victim of cerebrophenal? Meningitis. The burial was
held yesterday and was private owing to the fact that the disease
is contagious. The Krase home has been quarantined.
Mr. Krase was well known and in recent years had held the office

For seven years Henry Krase of the Rangeline has been a familiar figure
in Eastwin attending to his duties as town clerk and in that time has
always served the Town of Two Rivers faithfully and conscientiously. It
was a great shock when friends were informed of his death and the
bereaved family have the sympathy of many friends in the town where he
was well known and esteemed.

After an illness of about two weeks, Henry Krase of the Town of Two
Creeks, died at his home last week Friday. The cause of his death was
spinal meningitis. Decedent was born in the Town of Two Creeks in 1886.
He was by occupation a farmer and as such was successful. He was school
clerk and also town clerk of the Town of Two Rivers in which office he
served for the past eight years, always giving the duties of his office
careful attention. Deceased leaves a widow and one son, aged one and
one-half years besides his parents, one brother, Wm Krase and one
sister, Mrs. Christ Becker. The funeral took place Monday morning from
the home, Rev. Father Hugo officiating. Among those from out of town who
attended were Mr. and Mrs. Chas Grimm, Jos. Grimm of Whitelaw and Mrs.
Mark Klein of Clarks Mills.
