She was a member of the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren, the Personnel Workers class of the church and was a member of the Hagerstown Senior Citizens.
She was the widow of Howard M. Smallwood.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Janet M. MacMichael, Maugansville; two sons, Paul M. Smallwood and Glenn Smallwood, both of Hagerstown; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Miller and Mrs. Catherine Palmer, both of Hagerstown; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Rest Haven Funeral Home; burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery.
