William Fesenmaier, lifelong resident of Brown county, passed away suddenly, at his home on North Minnesota street, yesterday morning at 4:30 o'clock. Although ailing with heart trouble and complications for several weeks he was able to be up and around. Deceased was past 68 years of age, having been born in Cottonwood township, June 2, 1860 as a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Fesenmaier, pioneer settlers of Brown county. He was married to Miss Barbara Kraus at Holy Trinity Catholic church here, January 24m 1888m and they located on a farm in Cottonwood township, until retiring from active agricultural pursuits and removing to New Ulm in 1900. Here, Mr. Fesenmaier was employed in the hardware and implement business of his brother Robert, for several years. Besides his widow, deceased leaves two children, namely George B Fesenmaier, New Ulm, and Miss Anna Fesenmaier, Chicago, Ill. One daughter, Mrs. Walter Pixley, died at Pueblo, Colo 12 years ago There also are two grandchildren as well as the following five brothers and three sisters: Joseph, Robert, and Ben Fesenmaier, and Mrs. Pauline Vetter, New Ulm; Peter Fesenmaier, Cottonwood township, Frank Fesenmaier, Morton, Mrs. Edward Reinhart, Courtland township, and Mrs. Joseph Klingler, St. George. Funeral services will be conducted at Holy Trinity Catholic Church here next Monday morning at 9 o'clock, and interment will be made in the Catholic cemetery. St. Joseph society, of which Mr. Fesenmaier was a member, will attend the last rites in a body.
