Connor Dean Wilson was born May 13, 1981 in Rexburg, Idaho to Barry and Marlene Wilson and lived most of his 34 years in Rexburg and Rigby.

He was active in Scouting and became an Eagle Scout. He was active and athletic and enjoyed the outdoors.

His mortal life ended at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2015.

He attended Hibbard Elementary School, Madison Junior High and Madison High School. After working a couple of years in Salt Lake City in a restaurant he returned to Rexburg and enrolled in Eastern Idaho Vocational College and later Idaho State University where he graduated as a Register Nurse. He completed his bachelor's degree at Excelsior University and was one semester from completing a Master's Degree through Idaho State University. He worked in several nursing homes as he found himself drawn into caring for the elderly and that changed his life. He went to work for Solace Home Healthcare and Hospice where he became their Director of Nursing and worked with them for five years and loved his work and those he worked with. He was sought out by and went to work for Complete Healthcare and Hospice in Boise as Executive Director for their Boise office. He was in the process of selling his home in Rigby and moving his family to Boise. He was compassionate and full of life and energy. He left his wife Andrea Sommer and four children; Austin, Alexa, Isabella and Aliyah. He put his whole heart and soul into his work, his family and his home. No matter the project or task he was given, he did it a 100%.

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was involved in the young men's program.

He is survived by his wife Andrea Sommer and their children; Austin Wilson, Alexa Wilson, Isabella Wilson and Aliyah Wilson; his parents Barry and Marlene Wilson and their children; Corina, Carrie, Miranda, Heather, Adam and Erin Wilson; Andrea's mother, Christina Sommer and her children, Kira and Kristopher.

Connor was preceded in death by his grandparents James Kelly and Sarah Pearl Kelly and his father-in-law, Kendal J Sommer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, at the Hibbard LDS Chapel, 2001 North 3000 West, in Rexburg. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Wells Fargo, Connor Wilson Memorial Fund.
