Mr. Sigler served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the VFw Post 5506 and American Legion Post 235. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marseilles. He was employed by Caterpillar Tractor until his retirement. He coached Little League and umpired in Marseilles for many years and had been a member and past president of the Marseilles Booster Club.
He is survived by two sons, William (Lucy) Sigler, Jr. and Barry (Marion) Sigler, both of Winter Haven; by nine grandchildren; by 10 great-grandchildren; by a sister, Bertha (Edgar) Emmett of Marseilles; and by a brother, Carl Sigler of Indianapolis, Ind.
A son, Timothy Sigler, and three brothers, John Sigler, Robert Sigler, and Charles Sigler, died previously.
