At the time of her passing she was seventy-one years of age.
For a number of weeks, Mrs. Ellegard had been suffering with a cancer, and has been in a serious condition for so long, that her death comes as a relief.
Every possible attention and care had been administered, but she was unable to recover.
Besides her husband she is survived by a large family of children it is understood.
The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon it is understood.
A service will be held at the home at one-thirty and at two from the Central Lutheran church north of this city.
Burial will be made at the church cemetery.
