Hester Ann married an UNKNOWN named Bassett after the divorce to William Thomas Ryan. No record has thus far been found to show the name of the Bassett she married, but her 3rd marriage to William Earle states she had been married 3 times and she is using her name as Hester Ann Bassett on the marriage record to William Earle. She married William Earle but suspect he died early. Hester is buried under her last married name of Hester Ann Earle in New Jersey. Hester is also found in the 1860 census, one year after the birth of George A Bassett, as Hester A Ackerman. She is using her maiden name, and her 1 year old son George is also listed as Ackerman. His full names was George A (Ackerman) Bassett. This makes me think she divorced the Bassett and she is back to her maiden name.

When William Thomas Ryan divorced Hester Ann, he went west to Utah with his new wife and one daughter named Alice and one son from Hester Ann named William Malachi Ryan. This John T Ryan married a couple of times in New York and had 2-4 children, I have the info on them.. We do not know when or where John T Ryan died.
