According to a Petition to congress regarding Elizabeth Daniel and Job, she died abt 1855. Her descendants tried to have the National Archives provide a grave marker recognizing her as Job Daniel's widow since they had denied her his pension because she couldn't produce a marriage record. A bill was introduced in Us Senate by the late Sen.K.D. McKellar, June 1949, to erect a monument at the grave of Elizabeth Daniel at Ridgeville, Moore Co.,TN. "having a suitable inscription" and "Costing approximately $886 the amount of pension due her." Her pension claim was rejected originally. Posting from Gene Callaway.I could be wrong on that death date as I took it from a picture.
