"CHILDS – Suddenly, January 27, 1900, AMANDA M. CHILDS, widow of the late Benjamin S. Childs, aged 75 years.
Oh, mother, thy gentle voice is hushed,
Thy Warm, true heart is still
And on thy pale and peaceful face
Is resting death's cold chill;
Thy hands are clasped upon thy breast,
We have kissed thy lovely brow,
And in our aching hearts we know
We have no mother now.
The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, on Wednesday, January 31, at 2 o'clock, from the residence of her son-in-law, William Bonnich (sp), Bonsati (?) Avenue, east of Calcoon Road, Sharon Hill, Delaware County. Interment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery."
