Ann Rushing Cross, 74, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday. Mrs. Cross graduated from Gilfoy School of Nursing in 1961. She retired as an RN from Huntsville Hospital after many years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Vollmer Cross.
Survivors include children, Mike Cross of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Ola Williams (David) of Clay, AL, and Brian Cross (Kasy) of Helena, AL; grandchildren, Michael Cross (Christina) of Milton, FL, Hannah Williams of Clay, AL and Elsie Cross of Helena, AL; and great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Abigail Cross of Milton, FL.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Mark Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, AL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Presbyterian Home for Children, P.O. Drawer 577, Talladega, AL 35161-9975.
