Julina LaQuita Lindsey, 83 of Brady, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family July 5, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Home in Brady.

In 1932 she was born to Mildred and Lonnie Shockey. She was the oldest girl of six children. In 1949 she married her best friend Ray Lindsey. Together they had 3 wonderful children.

Her greatest gift was being called MOM by her three children, followed then by being called GINE by her three grandchildren. Throughout her life she was not only caring for her family but also to the community. She was a nurse in Odessa for Dr. Heston, before becoming a surgical technician, and pharmacist technician for Brady Memorial Hospital.

Julina was welcomed home to Lord on this date by her mother, father, three brothers, and one sister.
