Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Illinois City Methodist Church. The Rev. Lyndon Kercick will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-9 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ilinois City Cemetery. A memorial to the Illinois City Methodist Church has been established.
Mrs. Krueger was born Sept. 21, 1898, at Illinois City, a daughter of Henry L. and Florence French Martin. She was a life resident of the community. She married Wesley A. Krueger, June 30, 1926, at Aledo. She was a life member of the Illinois City Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for 60 years, a member of the Martha and Esther Circle of the church, a charter member of home extension, the recorder of the Royal Neighbors of America, and a member of many other organizations. She had been a teacher in the rural schools before and after her marriage. She is survived by foster children, Gary Roberts, Colona, Ill., Don C. Roberts, Columbia, S.C., and Vaughn H. Roberts, Reno, Nev., a brother, Lyle Martin, Muscatine, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband in 1960, one brother and two sisters.
