John Edmund Adams III
John Edmund Adams III, a native of Grove Hill and a resident of Bon Secour, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007. He was 54.
Adams was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Merrilee Adams; one son, John M. Adams; one daughter, Melissa Adams, all of Bon Secour; two brothers, Peter Adams of Columbus, Ga., and David Adams of Gulf Shores; one sister, Evelyn Adams of Lafayette, La.; and his parents, Nanelle and John E. Adams Jr. of Grove Hill.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Tuesday at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Baldwin County Habitat for Humanity, 12678 County Road 65 North, Foley, AL 36535; the Christian Veterinary Mission, 19303 Fremont Ave. North, Seattle, WA 98133; or the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, 875 N. Randolph St., Suite 225, Arlington, VA 22203-1757.
