Clifford A. Constable, son of F. M. (Tate) and Agnes (Sesna) Constable, was born October 26,1889,and departed this life January 3, 1985, at Noll Memorial Hospital in Bethany at the age of 96 years, 2 months and 8 days. He was the oldest of a family of seven children.

On November 23, 1910, he was united in marriage to Lillie A. Lisa. To this union one son Paul Carlyle was born.

Clifford spent most of his life on a farm seven miles east of Ridgeway. He moved to Cainsville in 1948 where he lived a few years. He then moved to Ridgeway where he lived until moving to Crestview five years ago.

He was always a devoted husband, a good father and a helpful neighbor.

Clifford was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie, his parents, Tate and Agnes, two brothers, Harry and Harvey Constable. and two sisters, Allie Scott. and Alma Craig.

He is survived by one son Carlyle, daughter-in-law, Florene, three grandchildren, Janice Tuggle, and Gene Constable both of Ridgeway and Paul Constable, Cainsville, three great grandchildren, Jeanette Hogan, Lieuticia and Brian Constable all of Ridgeway, two sisters, Elsie McQuerry, Higginsville, Mo. and Voncille Oswalt of Harrisonville, Mo. and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Note: Clifford was a farmer and always ready to help his neighbors put up hay and thresh. He was always there to be of help when in need. He had served as secretary of the former Modern Woodman Insurance Company of Harrison County.
