She graduated from Hagerstown High School with the class of 1945. Mrs. Keplinger retired in 1982 from the Maryland Correctional Institution. She was a member of St. James Brethren Church, where she participated with the Never Alone Sunday School Class. Additionally, she was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 378 of Hagerstown. She also was a member of Ladies of the Elks Association with Hagerstown Lodge 378; the Williamsport American Legion Post 202 Ladies Auxiliary; and the National Chapter and Local Hagerstown Chapter 623 of AARP.
Surviving are her three daughters; one son; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Keplinger was preceded in death by siblings, Nancy Carolyn Ardinger, Betty L. Mann and Kenneth Monn Jr.
The family will receive friends at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown, on Friday, July 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home with the interment following at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
