TRINITY | Kenneth Wayne Ashburn, 47, of Highway 62, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at High Point Regional Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Light House Gospel Church. Interment will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Ashburn was born May 26, 1955, in Forsyth County to Harden Ashburn and Etta Mae Martin Ashburn. He was employed at Wilco service station and was of the Baptist faith. He was married June 10, 1978, to Rhonda Kennedy Ashburn, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his father of Thomasville; one daughter, Holly Nicole Ashburn of the home; two sons, Kenneth Wayne Ashburn Jr. of Randleman and Jeremy Alan Ashburn of the home; three grandchildren; two sisters, Reva Hurst and Linda Hammonds, both of Thomasville; and four brothers, Donald Ashburn of Trinity, Ralph and Jimmy Ashburn of Thomasville and Roger Martin Ashburn of Louisiana.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home and other times at the home of the father, 206 Carolina Ave., Thomasville.
