Jo Anne Iman, 50, Joplin, died at 4:50 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 1997, at her home after an illness. Mrs. Iman was born Aug. 1, 1946, at Pittsburg, Kan. She lived most of her life in the Joplin area.
She worked the last 10 years as the human resources director at Butterball Inc., Carthage. She worked 13 years as personnel director at Lozier Inc., Joplin., and she was a bookkeeper at KODE television station and at FAG Bearing, both of Joplin. She was active in the United Way of Carthage. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Joplin.
Survivors include a sister, Karen Hughlett, Joplin; two brothers, Ed Russell, St. Peters, and Jeff Russell, Hearne, Texas.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Joplin. Michael Dunaway, bishop, will officiate. Burial will be in Nashville Cemetery, north of Joplin. The casket will be closed at all times. Contributions may be made to United Way of Carthage.
