Eighteen months of paralysis and she never lost faith or her smile.

Kimberly Sue McQueen Bolin, 31 years of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, February 18th, 1990 at the Rockcastle County Hospital in Mount Vernon, Kentucky after an illness of eighteen months.

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on November 1st, 1958, daughter of Lena Mae Whitis McQueen and James McQueen. She was in the restaurant business at Druthers Restaurant in Nicholaville, Kentucky, and was a member of the Promised Land Singers. She was also a member of the Church of God.

She was survived by her parents, Lena Mae and James McQueen; her loving husband, Ronald L. Bolin, whom she married in Somerset, Kentucky; two daughters, Kristie Nicole Bolin and Delta Denise Bolin, both of Somerset, Kentucky; two brothers, Jimmy McQueen and Wendell McQueen, both of Science Hill, Kentucky; three sisters, Doris Wilson of Science Hill, Kentucky, Donna Branum of Burnside, Kentucky, and Sherry Duff of Louisville, Kentucky; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.

Visitations were held after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20th, 1990 at the Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21st, 1990 in the Chapel of the Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory with Rev. Alfred Long officiating.

Burial followed in the Science Hill Cemetery in Science Hill, Kentucky.
