Rebecca A. Patton was born in North Carolina, March 11, 1834, and died at her home near Knoxville February 8, 1907; aged 78 years, 10 months, and 27 days.
She moved to Missouri with her parents at the age of five years. She was married to H.P. Albright July 19, 1860.
She had been a member of the Christian Union Church something like fifty years, and lived a true and faithful Christian life.
She leaves an aged and noble husband; one daughters, Sarah B.; three sons, George, William and Elmer; one step-daughter, Delilah; one adopted son, Rufus Worrell; seventeen grandchildren; one sister and one brother.
One sister (s/b daughter, Martha) preceded her in death.
Per her request Rev. Dr. Mitchell and Brother Joseph McAdams conducted the funeral. Burial was in Union Cemetery.
