Mrs. Theckla Ribacek, 72, died suddenly Saturday afternoon at the home of her
sister, Mrs. Paul Borusky, of 2315 Adams street, Two Rivers. She had been in
Two Rivers on a visit, from her home in Chicago, since the funeral of her
brother-in-law, Paul Borusky late in December.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Klein and Stangel,
Inc., funeral home in Two Rivers and at 9 o'clock from the St. Luke's Catholic
church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Two Rivers.
Mrs. Ribacek, nee Theckla Budnik, was born in this city in 1870 (sic) and when
a girl moved to Two Rivers with her parents. She was married to Frank Ribacek
in 1890 and moved to Chicago in 1927.
Survivors are two daughters, Sr. M. Concordia, of Catherine, Kan., Mrs. Walter
Moeller of Minneapolis; two sons, Edwin of Chicago, John, of Flint, Mich.; four
sisters, Mrs. Paul Borusky, Mrs. Joseph Colanchick, Mrs. John Skorch and Mrs.
Julia Elliott, all of Two Rivers. Three grandchildren also survive.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home this evening and until the time of
the services.
