WW2 B-17 & B-29 Crew Chief, Berlin Airlift C-46, Korea B-29 Crew Chief, Later USAF Reserves. Distinguished Flying Cross, Purple Heart 2, Air Medal, other awards. He was most proud of his Berlin Airlift service, bringing coal, food, and things for the children.
