Sister Mary Grace, 87, of the Dominican Nuns in West Springfield, MA died on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Mt. St. Vincent Care Center in Holyoke, MA after a brief illness. Sister was born on June 29, 1927 in Cambridge, MA and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Callahan) Power. She was educated in Cambridge schools and received her High School Diploma in 1944. She entered the Dominican Monastery of the Mother of God in West Springfield, MA in 1951 where she served her sisters in many ways. Among her various contributions to Community life, Sister served in the Kitchen, the Treasurer's Office, the Novena mailing, the Sacristy, the Spiritual Bouquet department and the Sewing of Habits.
