Wilma Jean Brent, 81, of Lewiston, passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 23, 2011. She was born on October 22, 1929 to Everett and Nona Elder in Clio, MI. She married Clarence Brent on October 17, 1946 in Malden, MO. She has lived in Lewiston for the past 30 years from Lennon, MI. She was an avid BINGO player and loved to fish, especially trips to Munoscong Bay. She enjoyed making crafts, and anything that envolved sewing, from quilts to fabric roses.
Wilma is survived by her husband, Clarence of Lewiston, MI; sons, Jesse (Beth) Brent, Lewiston, MI, Danny (Donna) Brent of Wichita Falls, TX, and Randy (Karen) Brent of Lewiston, MI; daughters, Donna (Tom) Williams of Rio Rico, AZ, and Joyce Brent of Lewiston, MI; 18 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Wesley (Ida) Elder of Mt Morris, MI; and sister, Mary Garrison of Douglasville, GA. She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Brent and four brothers, Jesse, Clois, Billy, and Chester.
Funeral services for Mrs Brent were held on January 26, 2011 at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI, Pastor Toby Stadden officiating.
