Adam J. "Pete" Oberman, 82 years of Moore Township died Friday July 10, 2015 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. Born in Tamaqua he was the son of the late Adam L. and Martha (Stewart) Oberman. He and his wife Beverly J. (Krell) Oberman would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this September 2015.

Adam retired as a layout operator for Western Electric of Allentown after 45 years of employ. He served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Catasauqua American Legion Post #215, a member of the Petersville Rod and Gun Club and avidly enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Adam loved the Phillies, the Eagles and Notre Dame.

Survivors: Surviving with his wife Beverly are sons David Oberman and wife Jennifer, Glenn Oberman and wife Melissa, daughter Deborah wife of John Gemmel, grandchildren Derek, Tara and Ryan Gemmel, April and Jenna Oberman, Natalie and Weston Oberman, Chase Rawson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters Dorothy Barrett and Barbara Starry and brothers Alvin and Richard Oberman.

Services: Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday July 15 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. His viewing will be from 7:00pm until 9:00pm Tuesday July 14 and from 10:00am until 11:00am Wednesday July 15 in the funeral home.
