Clarence ("Goodie") Goodridge married Elsie Curtis, daughter of George E. and Mary Simpson Curtis, on October 4, 1931, in Madison. They had one son, Curtis Elden, on January 13, 1933. Clarence and Elsie divorced in 1934.
Clarence married Ina May McLaughlin, daughter of Charles and Elsie McLaughlin, on July 11, 1934 at Norridgewock, Maine. They had two sons who died in infancy:
- Ronald Eldin, born March 5, 1935, died March 7, 1935, and placed in the tomb at Southside cemetery.
- David Paul, born February 19, 1936, died February 21, 1936, and placed in the tomb at Southside cemetery to await spring burial in the family lot.
By 1940, Clarence was residing in Gardner, Worcester, Massachusetts and was employed as an Attendant at the Massachusetts State Hospital. By 1945 he was living in Fitchburg, Worcester, Massachusetts and was employed at Fort Devens as a Machine Inspector. By 1951 he was the owner/operator of the Goodridge Wood Turning Business.
Clarence and Ina May moved to California sometime before 1958 and lived in Lucerne Valley, San Bernardino county, according to voter registration records for that year.
