Ida M. Gillham, 96, died at 8 a.m. Saturday after an extended illness in Lima Manor Nursing Center.
Born Nov. 29, 1879, in Muncie, Indiana, she was the daughter of James and Susan Staggs. She married Fred Gillham who died in 1938.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Edward (Velma) DeWitt of 331 S Nixon, Mrs. Carlton (Helen) Shealy and Mrs. Vera Parker, both of 616 S. Collins, and Mrs Gertrude Peterson of Chicago, eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Lewis Memorial Chapel of Chiles and Sons-Laman Funeral Home, Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
