Alan J. Osten, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2015 at Bay Area Medical Center of Marinette,WI. He was born on March 27, 1967 in Milwaukee, WI.
He graduated from Crivitz High School in 1985.
Al married Renee Gocht in Marinette, and the couple resided in the Crivitz area.
He worked in his family’s business, Osten Plumbing and Heating from 1990-2000. Since 2000, he has been the manager of the Crivitz Lumber Company. Al’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Renee, one son, SSgt Michael (Heather) Osten, and three daughters: Ciara Gocht, Ashley Osten and Jayda Osten. Two grandchildren, Alexia and Issac. Two sisters, Valerie Zlomaniec and Laura Osten. His mother Dorothy Osten, in-laws, George and Kathy Gocht, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward, and sister in-law Kathy.
His family will greet relatives and friends on Friday July 10 at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz from 1 P.M. until the time of the funeral at 3 P.M.
