Mr. Manning Anderson Dead
Mr. Manning Anderson, one of the old settlers of Rains County and a highly respected citizen of the Henrys Chapel neighborhood, died about 5:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. He was an ex-confederate soldier, a good citizen and neighbor, and had many friends and acquaintances throughout the county who will be grieved to learn of his death. His remains were interred in the Daugherty cemetery Tuesday, and the last tribute of respect paid by a large crowd of relatives and friends. The Leader offers sympathy and condolence to the bereaved family.
