MRS. ANNA M'MAHAN LAID TO REST HERE
Remains of Good Woman Who Was Prominent Here Brought to Old Home For Burial.
Impressive funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for the late Mrs. Anna [J.] B. [Benneson] McMahan, one of the most prominent of former Quincy women who died Thursday morning at her home in Bryn Mawr, Penn., a small town near Philadelphia. The body was brought here for burial, accompanied by Mrs. Douglas Bonner the only surviving daughter of Mrs. McMahan, and her husband, who reside in New York City. Mr. and Mrs. Bonner returned to their home Sunday evening., after the funeral. Rev. Earl Cook conducted the services which were held at 2:30 o'clock in the Unitarian church, of which the deceased was a former member, and later at the grave in Woodland cemetery...
