Al E. Kaiser,66, formerly of Fayette, died Monday, July 1, 1996, in Anamosa Community Hospital after a brief illness. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Anamosa, by the Rev. Richard Kuhn. Burial: St. Joseph's Cemetery, Earlville, with military rites. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, where a Scripture service begins at 7 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Rita; two sons, Doug (Mary) of Dyersville and Kevin (Norma) of Anamosa; two daughters, Chris (Jerry) Holtz of Anamosa and Connie Kaiser Brock (Phillip Brock) of Renton, Wash.; two brothers, Robert (Adorine) of Manchester and John (Lois) of Cresco; four sisters, Marie (Laverne) Neuhaus of Manchester, Anita (Arnold) Fisher of Earlville, Bonnie Jean (Ted) Andersen of Waterloo and Patricia Kaiser of Chicago; 10 grandchildren; and an uncle, Ed of Manchester.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Kenneth and Charles; and a sister, Ruth.

He was a member of the Anamosa and Fayette fire departments.
