Funeral services for Morris D Arrington, age 98, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. David Smith and Rev. Don Copeland officiating.

Interment will be at Jarratt Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Mr. Arrington passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015, in Jacksonville.

He was born February 7, 1917, in Memphis, TX, to John E. and Vera Arrington.

Morris was a local farmer and rancher and a deacon for many years at Craft Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Bernice Arrington, sister, Carrie Deidrickson, brothers; Cleavie Arrington, Emmitt Arrington, and Olen Arrington.

Survivors include his son, daughter, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one brother, one sister, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be six in total.

Honorary pallbearers will be six in number.

Visitation will be Friday July 17, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Autry Funeral Home Chapel.
