Lucy Catherine Gaver, 67, of Locust Avenue in Westminster, formerly of Union Bridge, died Saturday at Carroll County General Hospital after an illness of serveral months.
She was a member of Haugh's Mt. Zion Lutheran Church of Ladiesburg and a former machine operator with West Knit Corp. of Westminster, retiring about five years ago.

Born in Frederick County, she was daughter of the late Milton V. and Mary Elginfritz Miller. Her husband, P. Frank died in 1970.

She is survived by daughter Nancy G. Forney of
Westminster; sons Franklin E. of Taneytown and P. Edward of Westminster; sisters Tillie Boone of Westminster, Myrtle Boone of Linwood and Margaret Wimmer of Westminster; brother Ray Miller of Keymar; eight grandchildren and two
great-grandchidren.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Union Bridge
funeral home of DD. Hartzler. Officiating will be the Rev. Parris Beckhardt, her pastor. Interment will be in Haugh's Cemetery in Ladiesburg. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday night.
