Theresa enjoyed being with her children and granddaughters, playing bridge, crocheting, reading, working in her garden and spending winters in Florida. She worked as a health care worker for years, also with hospice of St. Joseph's and New Hope Hospice.
She leaves her husband of 60 years Francis R. Bartley one daughter; Leah Bartley of Hallowell, two sons; Frank Bartley and wife Paula, Dale Bartley and wife Cathy of Bucksport, three granddaughters; Maureen Bartley, Melissa Warme and husband David, Marsha Bartley, three great-grandchildren; Madasin, Mytchell and Mykenzie, two step-grandchilren; Diana Hamel, Ryan Francis also one sister Jane Day and two special nieces Judy Wardwell and Jenney Harman as well as many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by one daughter Liza Bartley, two brothers; Wallace Carrier and Patrick Carrier, two sisters; Rose Hachey and Marion Palmer.
Family and friends will gather for visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday July 19, 2015 at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home 28 Elm St. Bucksport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday July 20, 2015 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.
