She was married to George Hock, November 29, 1911. They made their home since last fall three miles north of town.
According to her testimony she was converted to God about six years ago, in a revival meeting at the Evangelical Church. Shortly after she joined that church ans was a member of it until her death.
She took sick very suddenly on Sunday, September 21, In spite of physician's skill and good care she had often unbearable pain. Death release her suffering on (Wed.) October 1, 1913, at 5:30 a.m., at the age of 25 years, 3 months, and 16 days.
Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her death, an infant child, her parents, her parents-in-law, one brother, five sisters, many other relatives and friends.
The funeral service was held on Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the German Methodist church...
Interment was made in the Culbertson cemetery.
