Allen "Tack" Lacy, 82, of Columbia, died Sunday, August 9, 1992, at the home of his daughter.

Services will be 1 pm Friday at the Mt. Nebo Original Church of God on Brown Hollow Road with Glenn Beard officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery.

The body will lie in state in the chapel of V.K Ryan & Son Funeral Home.

A native of Maury County, he was the son of the late Ethan and Ada Parker Lacy. He served in World War II where he received various medals including a Good Conduct Medal and a World War II Victory Medal. He was an employee of Armour Mines for a number of years.

Survivors include sons Leroy (Jo Ann) Lacy, Curtis (Alice) Lacy and Alvin (Berthaleen) Lacy, all of Columbia; daughters Rachel (Frank) Owens, Willie Mae (Henry) Greene, Nina Lacy, all of Columbia; brother James Curly Lacy of Nashville; 32 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Ernest Fitzpatrick, William Joyce, Willie Lacy Jr., Bobby Lacy, David Lacy and John Lawrence.
