Assumed command and promoted Captain of Troop C, Squadron A Cavalry, Feb. 12, 1912. He Served on the Mexican border as commander of Troop C, Squadron A Cavalry, from June 1916 till December 2, 1916. Retired December 2, 1916 after serving over twenty years of service.
