Rick Eugene Cowan

Rick was born May 12, Mother's day, 1959 in Havre, Montana to parents Gerald and Orena Cowan. He was the only boy of five children. He went home to be with his Lord February 26, 2013.
Rick attended elementary and High School in the Vallivue school district. He later attended LeTourneau University completing his degree in airplane mechanics. He worked in Airplane and Power Plant Mechanics in the Boise Valley and later long haul trucking for Willis Shaw.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Gerald Cowan and niece Lori Dahl.
Rick is survived by his wife Deb and daughter Katelyn Rose Cowan, mother Orena Cowan, siblings Carolyn (Loren) Dahl, Donna (Don) Cronrath , Joyce (Mike) Marchbanks, Diane (Mart) Svaty. In-laws Donald and Jeanette Jones, brother-in-law Steve (Kathy) Jones, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and loving cousins.
Rick lived his life rooted in a strong faith in Jesus Christ using his life verse of Phillippians 1:21.
We would like to publicly thank two angels, Herb Cowan and Dennis Harmon for bringing him home in December.
We would also like to thank caring individuals at St. Alphonsus and Southwest Idaho Acute Care who helped us during the last 2 months.
