Opal Audrey Harker

Opal Audrey Harker passed away on November 2, 2001, in a Little Rock, Arkansas hospital. She was born September 7, 1901 in Knox County, Missouri, one of six children of John S. and Syrilla Hudnut Pulse.

She was preceded in death by sisters: Vera Nichols, LaVaughn Pulse, Leona Nicol, and brothers: Bruce Pulse and Raymond Pulse, and her husband, Raymond L. Harker.

The were parents of two children: Sharon Kay Sprigmeyer of Heber Springs, Arkansas, and Earl Harker of Memphis, Tennessee.

She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, foster children and many nieces and nephews in Knox County, Missouri.

Mrs. Harker lived many years in Illinois and Colorado before moving to Arkansas to be near her daughter.

She spent her entire life helping those less fortunate. She was a member of the Assemblies of God. Interment was in the Green Mount Cemetery in Quincy, Illinois.
