She was preceded in death by her husband, John Elbert Angell, who was originally from Franklin County.
Survivors include her brother, Preston Mays and his wife, Ellie, Jacksonville, Fla.; her sisters-in-law, Alma Mays, Lovingston, Lozelle Mays, North Garden, Elva Mays, Waynesboro, Mildred Angell Milliron, Callaway; her brothers-in-law, James Angell, Seaford, Wilson and his wife, Beatrice Angell, Callaway. Although she had no children of her own, she was always proud to claim many Mays and Angell nephews and nieces as her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, August 1, 1996, at Oakey's North Chapel with Rev. Danny Dugan officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Oakey's North Chapel.
