Mrs. Angeline (Lankford) Evans, 98, passed away on July 18, 2015, at Navarro Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be at 9 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2015, in Oakwood Cemetery with Dr. Mark Luera officiating.

Interests: She was extremely gifted in her sewing skills and used them to help many charitable organizations here in Corsicana; making stuffed toy gifts for the Scottish Rite Hospital for crippled children in Dallas; dressed over 400 dolls and teddy bears for the Salvation Army to give at Christmas; has done extensive sewing for the Cancer Society, and the Children’s Advocacy in Corsicana

Preceded in death by: her sister, Frances Lankford Mahon; and son-in-law, Don Woodcock

Survived by: her husband, Harold; son, Daniel Harold Evans and wife, Barbara; daughter, Alice Dannell Evans Woodcock; grandchildren, Daniel Harold Evans, Jr., Pamela Evans Boeve and husband, John, Jennifer Evans Wade and husband, Steve, Dwayne Woodcock and wife, Colleen, Angela Woodcock Stephens, and Wendy Woodcock Byrd and husband, James; 14 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; a special niece and nephew, Denise Mahon Chaney and Greg Mahon; and many other nieces and nephews.
