E.G. LEHMANN BURIED JAN. 3. Eugene Gearhard Lehmann was born in Wisconsin on February 18, 1896 and passed away at his home near Summerdale, December 31, 1943 following a short illness due to a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Birdie Lehmann and four children, all at home, Dorothy, Harold, Evelyn and LeRoy. Also one sister, Mrs. Lillie Roheberg of Summerdale and four brothers, Richard and Victor of Summerdale and Louie and George of Tennessee. Mr. Lehmann came to this community in 1919 and since then has been farming near Summerdale. He was very active in all community interests and will be greatly missed. He was President of the P.T.A., a member of both the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star and a member of the American Legion. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, January 3 at the Methodist Church in Summerdale, with Rev. Wilson of Foley giving the message. Interment in Wynn Cemetery. All arrangements in charge of Troyer Funeral Home.
