H. A. Alexander, age 86 of Valley City, passed away this morning at his home. he was born in Canada, August 15, 1873. He was married to Lenora Lockwood at Grove Lake, Minn., October 11 1898.
He worked as a delivery man in Valley City for a number of years, retiring in 1940.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Merle (Mrs. Palmer Velure of St. Paul, Minn., Vivian (Mrs. Waldo Hall), Staples, Minn.; and Dorothy (Mrs. Able Anderson) Red Lake Falls, Minn.; one brother, Frank, of Sunny Slope, Ariz.; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Lockwood, Mrs. Will Calhoun, and Came Alexander, all of San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services are being arranged by Oliver's Chapel pending word from relatives.
