In the month of November our dear sister passed away. Mrs. Vina Morrow passed away Nov. 26, 1940, she was born Feb. 18, 1913, and was 37 years, 2 months and 28 days when God called her home.

She leaves her husband, one daughter, father, mother, 4 sisters and one brother to mourn her loss. Those surviving are Roy Morrow, Truely Morrow and Clark Baker of Gregory, Rhodes Gregory, Vick Gregory, Essie Gregory, Aught Gregory, Reba Gregory, and Nina Gregory of Slavans.

She joined the church at an early age. She was a devoted Christian and loved by all who knew her. Oh, dear Vina how we miss you no one knows. But the Lord knew best, he needed you in Heaven among the Angels. It was so hard to say good-bye to Vina we will meet you some day to never depart no more. I will always remember you dear sister and hope to meet you again and hold your dear hand. I know you are rejoicing with Jesus and your loved ones there. We will try to join you on that happy golden shore. If the Lord hadn't needed her he wouldn't called her from her loving little daughter to mourn the loss of its dear mother. But she knows you are sleeping beneath the earthly sod, your life record is with us. And your soul is at home with God.

The funeral was conducted by Mr. New, of Gregory. Her remains were taken to the Morrow cemetery for burial
