When he finds the grave - with the help of painted tree markers - Bogart speaks proudly of Samuel Hoy and other ancestors who lived and died on that land long before the advent of aviation...
"Hoy's final resting place and the graves of other homestead settlers are scattered throughou the 7,000 acres of KCI's property. Laid to rest 126 years ago, Hoy's body and those of other pioneer dead now must make way for the living...
"Bogart cares for the Samuel Hoy grave site and a cemetery that has the remains of his great-great-great grandfather Jones Hoy and great-great grandparents William and Adeline Hoy... Bogart thinks the Hoys would be proud of how the area they nurtured in the 1800s has grown. "From what I have read, they were people of vision," he said..."
