Lorraine Elizabeth Olden Byrd, 80, Middletown died Monday July 20 at NMS Healthcare in Hagerstown. She was the wife of Donald Leo Byrd who died in 1994. Born in Burkittsville on March 6, 1935 she was a daughter of the late Robert and Eileen Travis Olden. She was a member of the Locust Valley First Church of God, Middletown. She is survived by: 1 son - Dwayne Byrd and wife Dawn - Ellicott City 1 daughter - Lori Cline and husband Doug - Wolfsville 4 granddaughters - Mandie Nance, Melissa Hoover, Kimberly Cline, Elizabeth Crane 4 great-grandchildren - Dori, Hannah, Christine Nance and Peyton Hoover 2 sisters - Linda Crummitt and husband Kenny - Middletown and Janie Blair and husband Aiden - Hagerstown She was predeceased by two sisters Caroleen Warfield and Margaret Olden. The family will receive friends on Thursday July 23 from 7 to 9 PM at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Friday July 24 from the funeral home. Pastor Richard Fredericks will officiate. Interment will be made in the Locust Valley Bible Church Cemetery, Middletown.
