A daughter of the late James White Stevenson, Sr. and Ruby Porter Stevenson. She lived most of her life in Georgetown and was a graduate of Winyah High School and Coker College. Mrs. Lawrimore was a retired school teacher and taught at Beck Middle School and Winyah Junior High School. She was a member of Georgetown Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Women and a past member of the Ribbon Club.
Mrs. Lawrimore was predeceased by: husbands Aubrey Holbrook Rion and Charles Wesley Lawrimore, Sr.; a son, Aubrey Holbrook Rion, Jr.; a brother, James White Stevenson, Jr.; and a sister, Julia Stevenson Carraway.
