Services for Irene Aga, 75, Detroit Lakes, and formerly of Mankato, who passed away Wednesday, were 10:30am Friday at the First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes with the Reverends Lyndon W West and David Anderson officiating; and at the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mankato with the Reverends Arling Thompson and Leland Johnson officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato. The West-Kjos Funeral Home of Detroit Lakes handled the arrangements.

The former Irene Lillian Juell was born April 8, 1902, in Minneapolis to Alfred and Annie (née Peterson) Juell. She married the Reverend R O Aga, Sr June 12, 1923, in Minneapolis. They served the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church from 1932 to 1945; parishes in Pasadena and Sacramento from 1945 to 1962, in Butterfield and St James from 1962 until 1974 and in Detroit Lakes since 1974.

She was survived by her husband; two sons: the Reverend Rhuben O Aga, Jr of Detroit Lakes and Dr John H Aga of Brainerd; a sister, Della Sicora of Minneapolis; and seven grandchildren.
