Betty was born November 27, 1945 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Plautz) Wiesner. She attended schools in the Manitowoc area and graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Betty enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her dogs.
She is survived by 1 brother and sister-in-law: Gerald (Patricia) Wiesner, Manitowoc; 3 sisters and 1 brother-in-law: Shirley Mae (Alan) Umnus, Manitowoc; Marilyn R. Nelson, Manitowoc; Carol Nelson, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother-in-law: Elroy Nelson; 1 nephew: Terry Wiesner.
Service of Comfort will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2015 at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc. The Rev. Stephen Melso will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
